Week 50 - Cellphone Charms

I enjoy birdwatching.
Hello everyone.  Four weeks have already past in this year.  How quickly time goes!   Usually, in weekday I enjoy birdwatching.  And every weekend  I help M to check her work and to create this blog.

This morning, M was doing something with wool.  Stabbing it with needles again and again.  Yes, I remember that she did the same thing a few months ago.  I made a mistake that as a voodoo doll.  This time she was making a tiny fluffy kitten.

M made a white and silver tabby kitten with Merino wool.  Then, she came to me and kindly combed my fur.  She took my shedded hair from the comb and washed it.

She made a second kitten from my real hair!

Is this made with my hair?

Week 49 - Kitties Pencil Case

Hi everyone.  It's Saturday.  Daisy's blog is updating.
It is strange weather this week in Christchurch.  Temperature has been up and down since last weekend.  Yesterday was 14℃, and today is 27℃.  Just like winter and summer come alternately.

By the way, my neighbour cat has got kittens. And every morning and evening they play together outside.  Kittens are so energetic that they run and spring all the time.  Was I so energetic in my kittenhood?  I cannot remember...

This week, M made a pencil case.  Stitched motifs are inspired by neighbours kitten family.

This pencil case can be used to keep eye glesses, sun glasses or cosmetic brushes.  It is made with linen and cotton.

I'm checking stitches.

Week 48 - Purrfect Eye Glass Cord

Thinking about New Year's resolution.
Hi everyone!  How are you?
I am enjoying the summer here in New Zealand.
M sometimes talks to me that I must feel hot with wearing fur in summer.  Especially my fur is thicker than other cats.  For me, it is comfortable, not so hot.  I can even enjoy sunbathing.  You know, cats like sunbathing.  However, if your cat is pale colour, please pay attention not to be in sunshine for a long time.  As same as humans, cats would get a skin cancer by over sunbathing.  Never let your cat get sunburned.

This week, M made an eye glass cord for herself.  She normally puts on contact lenses, but when she is at home she wears glasses.  Sadly she has a poor sight.

Cats parts are up and down direction to be used in either ways.

As you can see the photo above, she used a wire to connect each parts.  If you don't have eye pins, you can try to use a wire.  It is a cheaper way.

I'm checking the quality.

Week 47 - Purbie Doll 3

A Happy New Year!  Did you enjoy this holiday?  As M had a week off, we spent together with relaxing.  People enjoy travelling or camping this season.  Unfortunately, I don't like going out.  M must stay with me.  Changing the environment is traumatic event for most cats.  We love home sweet home.

Well, the first project of this year is...Purbie Doll !  In the past, M made two Purbie Dolls.  The third one is the "Cat Walk Purbie".

Purbie 3 - Cat Walk Purbie

She is a grey cat with blue eyes.  I guess she may be Russian Blue or British Short Hair.  Wearing light blue leopard jacket and silver dot shiny dress.
As same as previous two Purbies, an armature is inside which makes her body flexible.  Of course, all her cloths and boots are changeable.
Nice jacket.
Nice dress.

Say Cheese.

See you next week.
Can I join?
