Week 59 - Royal Kitty Ballet in Snow Globe

Hi.  How is your Easter weekend?  I enjoyed snoozing in sunshine, while M was engaged herself in crafting.  She was doing something with polymer clay all day.  What is this week's project?

Well, let's have a look.
Royal Kitty Ballet in Snow Globe

Is this me?

She made a snow globe using a kit for kids.  She said, "It is good to make something with kid's heart.  It is also enjoyable."  She bought the kit a few months ago.  But not enough time to make this.
This tortoise-shell cat cannot resist to self grooming.

According to M, cat's elegant movements reminds her of ballerina.  Don't you think so?

I'm checking the detail.
Have a happy Easter!

Week 58 - Leopard Boots Covers

Hi everyone.  Saturday is a cat craft day.  Not official but M and I decided it.  Week by week, cat crafts are created.  Wonderful, isn't it?

Christchurch is still warm as summer, however M made boots covers to prepare to coming cold winter.

With those boots covers, usual boots change the looks dramatically.
Leopard is always fashionable.  I am proud of being their relative.

M made these simply to fasten with snap buttons.  The pattern is slightly curved like below.
This is inside out and cliped the curved seam allowance and the corners before turning.
I'm checking quality.

Week 57 - Three ways scarf

Hello everybody.  How are you today?  M and I, Daisy are pleased to know that a cute kitty becomes a follower of our blog.  Thank you very much.  I was so happy that I became a follower of my own blog.  Silly me.  Cat lovers, craft lovers and kitties are always welcome.  All aboard!

Well, this week M made a three ways scarf.  It is not winter in New Zealand yet but good to prepare for coming chilly days.  This scarf can be used in three ways.
1. Normal scarf
2. Snood (Around your neck once)
3. Stand Collar(Around your neck twice)

M made three pompoms and attached one edge, and elastic loops attached the other edge to fasten it.

I'm checking quality.

Week 56 - Sunglasses case

Hi everybody.  How are you?  It's another Saturday, time for uploading this blog.  Annual Flower Show is now on in Christchurch this weekend, however, it has nothing to do with cat's life.  M is also too busy for making a cat craft for this blog and creating articles for her own blog.  No time for Flower Show.

This week's project is Sunglasses case.  Recently M broke her sunglasses because she didn't put her sunglasses in the case.  She bought new one.  And she decided to make the case not to break it again.

It made from felt and leopard printed cotton.  Velcro is used as a fastener.  Each side of cat applique is different.

I hope she will not break her sunglasses again.

Week 55 - Leopard Candle Holder

Hello humans and kitties.  How are you all?  February past quickly and now it's March.  Autumn has started.  It is still warm enough here in New Zealand, though.
Empty Jar

This week's project is to recycle an empty jar of hazelnut spread.

M doesn't like waste what she could use and she prefers recycle to throw away.  It is small things but huge different if every person tries to recycle.  Go green!

Well, the empty jar has become a candle holder with polymer clay.

Pale orange part is mixed a lot of translucent clay to enhance a brighter effect.  And using a real buckle with fake clay belt adds uniqueness.

It can be used as a pen stand.
