Week 203 - Prickly Cat Cacti

Hello humans and elegant kitties.  Are you enjoying Caturday?  M, my human friend and I are having a relaxing weekend.  Wet this morning, but it is clear now.  Do you know the greens become more lively after the rain?  I like watching dew drops twinkling on the leaves.

This week, M made a bizarre object.

Prickly Cat Cacti
She made a cat shape cacti using polymer clay.  The base is a cap of wine.  The prickles are made with nylon cords.

According to M, she originally wanted to make a miniature succulent to decorate tiny space.  She made this cacti for a cat craft project instead of a normal imitation succulent.

She is prickly.

I think this is a bizarre object ever.

Week 202- Cat Mini Bowl Painted Like A Scandinavian

Hello cats and cat admirers.  How are you?  Is your place comfort?  My place is tiny but comfy enough.  M, my human friend who lives with me often becomes too lazy to tidy up.  Besides, she becomes crazy.  She bought security cameras yesterday for home safety and set up them this morning.  I thought she should make this week's project or tidy up first before doing security stuff.  Now I am under the surveillance camera 24/7.  Being a cat is really tough.

Let's check M's work, shall we?

This week, M painted a small bowl with porcelain markers.

M imaged Marimekko.  Instead of 'Marimekko', she wrote 'Cat neko'.  Neko means Cat in Japanese.

I guess she is obsessed with cats too much.

Should I check this?

I'm checking this is empty.

Week 201 - Leopard Earphones Bag

Hi everybody.  Did you enjoy the last week's 200th project?  And, yep, it's still continuing.  My human friend M and I feel that making and blogging about cat goods are Caturday's routine.  Humans are often lazy, so I need to give M enough motivation to keep on being creative, though.

This week, M made a tiny bag for earphones.

Leopard Earphone Bag

Earphones are easy to be tangled in your pocket or bag.  M made a tiny bag and attached a loop strap inside the bag.  The loop can keep earbuds secure and be able to hold the cord with winding up.

The strap outside attached a carabiner can be hang on your belt loop or handle of your bag.

Messy earphones problem is sorted.

I am checking.

Did you take a nice picture?

Week 200 - Daisy the Felt Kitten

Ladies and Gentle meows.  I would like to proudly let you know that my blog 'Everyweek Cat Craft Project' has reached the 200th project this week.

Since my human friend M and I started this project in February 2012, we produced many handmade cat goods.  There was a time we stopped posting for a while, but I am very satisfied with this result.

And now, the 200th project.  Ta-Da.

Daisy the felt kitten

This week M made mini-me with needle felting.  Oh, I still remember how cute I was in my kittenhood.

M tried to make a replica of kitten of me.  Nice try.

She made an armature with pipe cleaners.  Then, she attached felt to build the body.

Remember, she made mini-me at the 100th project.  This time she tried to make it more real.

I'm checking her smell.

I used to be a kitten like this.
