Week 37 - Cat Galore Bag

Hello everyone!  How are you today?  There are some cats remarkably working in this world as I introduced you in this blog a few months ago.  Remember, Oscar, Larry, Tama and Stubbs.  And at last, a cat becomes a candidate for Senate in Virginia in US.  Hank the cat is running for the open Senate seat in Virginia.  I don't know much about politics and US election, however I'm very interested in Hank's campaign.  If you are also interested in him, go to his website, http://www.hankforsenate.com  He is a beautiful tabby and white cat.

This week, M made a cat bag for herself.

But you may think why this is 'cat galore'?  Well, let's look at inside.

Cat print liner

Handmade tag

So many cats are printed on the liner.  Besides, M made a cat shaped orange button with polymer clay and saw on a handmade tag from last week's project.  A large pocket inside is very useful to keep small goods.

I'm checking outside.
And checking inside.

Week 36 - Eraser Stamps

Hi everybody !  What are you up to?  I am annoyed by a hairball as it is a shedding season.  I try to avoid it with munching cat grass, but it is not so helpful at this stage.  I wonder if big cats, such as lions or tigers, are also suffered by a hairball.  I haven't seen lions or tigers vomiting a hairball in the documentary film on TV.  Has anyone seen?

This week, M made cat stamps.

Printed in two colours
Eraser, pencil and craft knife

To make an eraser stamp, first you draw a design on a paper using a pencil.  Next, put the drawing side on an eraser and rub it to transfer the design onto the eraser.  Then carve it carefully.

Oh, sorry, I was miles away.
Now I am checking.

Week 35 - Fridge Magnets

Hello humans and kitties.  This is Daisy's blog.  How are you?  It has been raining since this morning here in Christchurch.  I enjoyed birdwatching for a while in the morning and relaxed with napping in the afternoon.  Then, I checked M's work as I usually do on Saturday.

Here is this week's cat craft - Cat Fridge Magnets.
Cat Fridge Mangets
These magnets are made with polymer clay.  M made two different style of cats.  One is a bold flower black/grey cat.  The other is a lacy brown cat.

I'm checking details.

Week 34 - Cat T-shirt

Hi there.  How are you ?  It is October and daylight saving time has started on the last Sunday.  I feel something strange because we cats recognise the time by the position of the sun, not by the clock.  However, the world is moving a little bit earlier than usual.  M gets up, goes to work, comes back from work and goes to bed earlier.  So I am trying to adjust my routine to her.  It is still okay that I can have dinner one hour earlier.

This week, M made an original T-shirt using the T-shirts transfer paper.
Cat T-shirt
Same as 'duck cat duck' T-shirt on the week 5,  she drew the picture on computer first, then printed and cut out images, and transferred them on T-shirt with an iron.  Six dollars cheap T-shirt becomes original.

Am I like this?
