Week 230 - Catnip PC Mouse

Hello humans and pretty kitties.  It is the last Caturday in March.  What are you up to?  Grey and wet weather here in Christchurch.  I miss warm summer sunshine.  Rain or shine, I can enjoy taking a nap, though.

This week, my human friend M made something for me.  Let's have a look.

Catnip PC Mouse

M made a patchwork fake mouse for me.

Sorry M, but we, cats are taking over the Internet world.  We can handle a mouse very well.

Anyway, I like this cute mouse as it smells catnip!

I checked...

and lost control.

Week 229 - Love Cats Photo Frame

Hello humans and lovely kitties.  How are you today?  Yesterday was very warm and lot of sunshine. But it is quiet and cooler today.  My human friend M was out for lunch.  I stayed at home by my own.  I was wondering what M made for this week's project.

Let's have a look.

Love Cats Photo Frame

This week, M decorate a plain photo frame with cute kitty lovers.

The frame has some depth, so it is good to put a decoration on it.  M made a cute kitty couple with polymer clay.

I am checking front...

and top.

Week 228 - Cat Galore Spring Frame Pouch

Hello people and cats.  It is Caturday.  Are you ready for weekend craft?  For me, it is routine to check a cat craft which my human friend M makes every weekend.  As it is really hard work required, I always need enough sleep.

Let's check this week's project.

Cat Galore Spring Frame Pouch

M made a unique small pouch this week.

The main fabric, Cat print cotton double gauze is very soft.  So it is attached interfacing on the back.  Brown part is fake leather.  The liner is calico.  The frame is about 12cm.

Sorry, M forgot to take a picture of processing work.

Let's start.

Is there anything inside?

Week 227 - Hanging Bird Decoration

Hi people and fabulous kitties.  How's your first weekend of March?  My days are always happy, calm and sleepy.  My human friend M is a little bit grumpy as she have to work tomorrow. Poor humans!

This week, M made a cute bird decoration, not a cat!

Hanging Bird Decoration

This is Fantail, one of New Zealand native birds.  Real Fantail is about 15 cm length, but M made it much smaller.  The hoop is only 6 cm diameter.

M made leg parts with wire and brown floral tape first, then attached the body with needle felting.  The famous long tail and wings are made with cotton and felt fabric.

Technically, this is not a cat craft project, but as a keen bird watcher, birds and fish are welcome.

This is not a cat.

Hello, birdie.
