Week 189 - Black Cat Rope Dish

Hello human and cute kitties.  How's your Caturday?  It becomes quite cold here in Christchurch, NZ.  I just tried to keep myself warm on M, my human friend, although she seemed to be a little bit annoyed.  But I know every human likes a lap cat, especially in cold winter.

Anyway, let's have a look at this week's project.

Black Cat Rope Dish

M made a cute black cat dish with a rope.  It is small but good to keep keys or rings.

To make this cute dish, you need 35cm and 75cm ropes (about 0.9 cm diameter).

Use 75cm rope and start from the centre.  To keep sewing the row of rope until the rope end.  The dish is circle.
Make a small triangle shape with an end of 35cm rope.  It becomes an ear part.  Attach the triangle to the dish and sew along the edge.  Make another triangle the other end of rope and sew on.

Stitch whiskers with white embroidery thread.  If you want the dish stable, sew a rope ring on the reverse side.

I will check...

The dish is empty.
