Week 118 - Shrink Plastic Kitty Rings

Hello people and kitties.  Since June started, I feel a day is getting shorter and shorter.  After snack time at 3 am, I return to sleep but hardly to get up at 8 am.  It's still dark.  My human friend M complains that I take the center of her bed to curl up.  People cannot understand that cats are kindly to keep the human's bed warm.  They should appreciate our attitude.

This week M made some rings with shrink plastic.  Let's have a look.

Shrink Plastic Kitty Rings

The materials are a sheet of translucent shrink plastic, permanent marker, acrylic paints and a Rhinestone.

As the plastic is translucent, it is easy to trace the picture or image.  She traced a lacy border for the ring of a gold one in above picture.  This one is not a cat craft so it is far back on the picture.

The purple ring is decorated by Rhinestone, and the clear one is cut out as cat shape by craft punch.

According to M, the most difficult part to make is to bend the plastic to ring shape.  It requires quick handling with wearing thick gloves - just a few seconds for bending time.

I am checking the clear one.

See you next week!
