Week 185 - Leopard Paw Pouch

Hello everybody.  How was your week?  My human friend M changed a layout of our room without asking me.  Humans are selfish.  I am confused a little bit because I cannot watch outside from my usual couch.  Although she put a chair in front of the window for me, I still miss comfy couch.

Anyway, let's have a look at this week's project.

Leopard Paw Pouch

M made a tiny pouch which shapes a leopard paw.

The clasp is only 5 x 3.5 cm.  M told me that it is hard to handle the fake fur in such a tiny scale.

The liner is printed cotton fabric.

Is this today's project to check?

I'm checking the inside.

Week 184 - Nine Lives Felt Ball Nacklace

Hi every human and kitty.  I am sorry I couldn't update an article yesterday.  My human friend M went to Hanmer Springs leaving me behind.  I enjoyed beautiful sunshine and a quiet Caturday at home.

This week M made a unique necklace with felted ball.

Nine Lives Felt Ball Necklace

M made 9 felt balls with wet felting.  And she attached the cat fur pattern with needle felting.  Then, she made a hole each ball and inserted a leather cord.  Put clasps each end of leather code and finished.

I am checking the fur pattern.

Week 183 - Leopard Pot Cover

Hi every human and kitty.  It is Caturday and nice napping weather here in Christchurch.  My human friend M tries to declutter rooms, but it seems to be a hard work.

This week M made a plant pot cover using her old jumper.

She chopped off the sleeve of old jumper and attached leopard fabric.  The sleeve part is purrfect for a tiny plastic pot.

Let's have a look.

Checking from back.

Can I eat this?

Week 182 - Black Cat Mini Statues

Hello craft people and kitties.  What are you up to?

It's April, and the daylight saving is finishing tomorrow here in New Zealand.  I notice the night is getting longer and longer.  I've already missed bright summer sunshine.

I don't know why, but my human friend M bought sunflowers a couple days ago.  They are in a vase on the table.  Why sunflower?  Why now?  I cannot understand humans.  Incidentally, I prefer daisies to sunflowers.

Anyway, let's have a look at this week's project.

Black Cat Mini Statues

Roughly shaped clay
M made these mini statues with polymer clay.  Just using hands, she shaped simple cat figures.

Originally, she was going to make flat silhouettes to decorate a switch panel.  Black cat silhouette decoration is not so unique, so she changed her mind and made them as 3D.

I am checking the shape.

Have a great weekend!
