Week 177 - Chalkboard Pot Plate

Hello humans and gorgeous kitties.  I hope you are having great weekend.  It was 32 degree Celsius in Christchurch this afternoon.  My human friend M seemed to be tired by this unexpected heat.  I don't mind the heat and actually I enjoyed a few naps in the sunshine.

This week, M used black chalkboard paint for the project.  Let's have a look.

Chalkboard Pot Plate

M bought pre-cut cat shaped wooden boards.  She painted it with chalkboard paint and glued a chop stick on the back.  Easy-peasy.

Am I near sighted?

Week 176 - Remake Scratching Post

I am sulky today.
Hi everybody.  How are you?  I am a little bit distressed.  Why?

Because my human friend M ruined my few years work today.  I am talking about my scratching post.  She seems to believe it is ugly.  She cannot understand what cats art is.  Human!

Let's have a look at my purrfect art work first.

Before

After

M ripped off my art work and replace a scrap of carpet which she got from carpet company for free.

It is unable to use a pin to hold the thick carpet together, so M use craft tape.

Then she stitched edges together with a doll needle.

I'm checking the process.

All right.  I will start a new art work.

Week 175 - Cat on Heart Pendant

Hello humans and intelligent cats!  How are you today?

Last week, my human friend M bought a pot of lavender.  I saw a ladybug enjoying the flower on it.  New Zealand is in the middle of summer.

This week's project is very quick to make.  Let's have a look.

Cat on Heart Pendant

A heart and cat shape charm are connected by O ring and ball chain attached.

Oh, yes.  It is Valentine's day tomorrow.

I am checking.

Love your cat.  Love cats.

Week 174 - Cats & Fish Bracelet

Hi everybody.  How are you spending Caturday?  I enjoyed warm sunshine.  Oh, I also had my hair combed nicely by my human friend M this morning.  I love keeping myself clean and tidy.  Feeling good.

This week, M made a cute bracelet.  Let's have a look.

Cats & Fish Blacelet

She used a basic plain antique gold bracelet.

And attached some kitty charms and acrylic fish beads with O ring.  Then she put some different shape metallic beads for an accent.

I am checking the balance of beads and charms.
