Week 159 - Felted Kitten, Mi-ke

Hello everyone.  It's Caturday, aka Saturday.  Wonderful time for featuring cat craft projects.

Before show you this week's project, let me groom myself.

This week my human friend M made a cute kitten with needle felting.

Felted Kitten, Mi-ke

Mi-ke [pronounce as Me-Ke] means Torti cat in Japanese.  I can see four colours in her fur, though.

What?  Okay...  M told me that grey and black suppose to be counted as one colour.   Whatever.

M made the body and the head roughly, then added the details.

This is the third kitten that M made.  The first one is Daisy(mini-me), the second one is Blacky and Mi-ke is the third.

Oh, I remember my kittenhood.  I was so cute...

I'm checking her smell.

Week 158 - Catnip Rugby Ball

Hello everyone.  Are you having a nice weekend?  In Christchurch, it is getting cooler and I definitely feel autumn in the air.  My human friend M brought me acorns from her jogging last week.  Acorns!  I am a cat, not a squirrel.  What does she want me to these?

Anyway, this week's project.  M made a tiny rugby ball filled with dried catnip.

Catnip Rugby Ball

New Zealand is a rugby country.  There is a famous All Blacks.  So some kiwi cats may also like chasing a rugby ball.  I said, 'some kiwi cats', not only black cats.

I checked it anyway.

And got a wee bit excited.

Week 157 - Cute Cat Bookmark

Hi people and cats.  Are you relaxing?  It is not fine here in Christchurch, but I enjoy occasional sunshine anyway.  And I enjoy grooming myself.

Of course, I don't forget to check my human friend, M's work.

This week M made a cute bookmark which sticks out from a book.

Let's have a look how it works.

It is cute and interesting, isn't it?  But I am more interested in the book 'Cheeky Little Cats'.

I am checking the detail.

Week 156 - Stylish Cat Tote Bag

Hi everyone.  It is Caturday and the time for cat crafts.  I was so excited to check the work of M, my human friend, that I stayed up until 2 pm.  However, M finished the work around 3 pm.  I couldn't resist to take a nap.  Did I miss to check the project?  Nope.  I am one of hard work cats.

This week, M made a very stylish tote bag.

Stylish Cat Tote Bag
Mainly, upholstery fabric and fake leather are used in this project.

A leopard fashion belt became handles of the bag.

M bought it for NZ$3 for three at K-mart.

Bag handles are quite expensive, as you may know.  So this is a good alternate.

Both side of cute cat cotton tape add a cat craft touch.

The liner is calico.

There is a pocket for the convenience.

I'm still sleepy.

But I am checking anyway.
