Week 151 - Gradation Cat Hair Clip

Hi every craft lover and cat.  How are you?  One month has already past in 2015.  Is your new year's resolution going well?  Mine?  I forgot what I decided.  Mmm, sleep well?  Maybe, nap well?  Being a good cat?  I've already been a good cat.  My human friend M keeps on doing cat crafts every week.  This is the 151st week.

M made a hair clip this week using polymer clay.

She made five shade of blue (not fifty shade of grey) by mixing blue and white clay.

Then cut out as a cat shape and attached the hair clip.

Baked in the oven for 15 minutes, it becomes harden as plastic.

I'm checking before bake.

And after bake.

Week 150 - Purr Cats Coffee Mug

Hi everyone.  Are you enjoying your weekend?  It is toasty warm here in Christchurch.  Good for napping but I am staying up for checking this week's project.  So what is this week's project?   Let's have a look, shall we?

Purr Cats Coffee Mug

Last two weeks my human friend M made something related coffee.  This week, she made an original mug.  She bought $1 plain mug and drew a logo just like Starbucks.

The rough sketch left is that she drew at first.

And then, she changed the cat like the left.

The final cat drawing has a bird on the head instead of a star.

I'm checking anyway.

Week 149 - Cattoccino Cup Holder

Hello humans and cute cats.  Do you all have good naps everyday?  Naps are very important to keep your vitality.  People are stupid enough to stay awake even when they are sleepy.  Sleep!  Or take a nap!  My human friend M drinks a cup of coffee when she want to refresh herself.  I cannot understand why people drink coffee.  All cat don't know the reason why people drink coffee, except for Gerfield.

Anyway, this week M made a coffee cup holder.

Cattoccino Cup Holder
It says, "CATTOCCINO : A CAT HAIR FLOATING ON YOUR FAVORITE COFFEE. TASTY!"

Don't be so sarcastic, M.  If you are living with a cat, you must accept the life with cat hair.

She uses felt fabric, checker ribbon and cotton lace.  Two polymer clay cat buttons that she had made and elastic loops makes it adjustable to most cups.

I'm checking it from the top.

...and from the bottom.

Week 148 - Coffee Filter Holder

Hello kitties and craft lovers.  How's your new year starting?  My new year's resolution is 'eat more veggie (aka cat grass) to stay healthy'.  I have three veggie pots to munch down.  It's summer here in New Zealand.  The plant grows really quick.  Never run out of veggies.

Well, let's start checking this week's project.

This week, my human friend M made a coffee filter holder.

Coffee Filter Holder

She likes filtered coffee.  She said, "It's much taster than coffee with plunger."  I don't know much about coffee.  For me, sipping water is the best.

She cut out cardboard as a filter's shape.  Then decorated with leopard printed fluffy paper.  To be finished, she attached a ribbon and a cute coffee cup charm.

With magnets, it stick onto a fridge.

I'm checking the tiny coffee cup.

Week 147 - T-shirts Bandanna Collar

A Happy Meow Year!  I hope everybody has started a good year.  As my human friend M is working as usual, my days are also same as usual.  Everyday is exciting for me.  Exciting sleepy days, apart from crafty Saturday.

This week, M made a bandanna style cat collar.

T-shirs Bandanna Collar

It is made of jersey fabric just like your favourite T-shirts.  This collar is so soft that I can wear comfortably.  M wrote my name on it with a fabric marker and attached a daisy motif.  Easy to wear on and off with a snap button.

I checked.
And tried on.
